First a big thank you to Corel for providing Paint Shop Pro X for this Review.

Recently I had the chance to look at Corels latest paint program called Paint Shop Pro X and I have to say this is one of the best paint programs on the market that I have seen. Paint Shop Pro X can handle pretty much anything from simple tasks all the way up to the more complicated stuff.

Over the years I have used these three utilities from time to time and have found them quite use full. All three of these utilities are free and they are not crippled or have any type of nags in them. The three utilities I will cover here are all for the Internet. First a big thank you to Techsmith for providing Camtasia Studio for this Review.

If your into making Video Tutorials, Software Demos or Presentations then look no further then Camtasia Studio. This program is built to do one thing and thats capture your desktop and all your mouse movement that you do on it and then turn that into a video. If you wanted for example to show someone via video how to use a program then Camtasia Studio would be for you. Not only does it capture your desktop and mouse movements but it can also record audio at the same time if you have a MIC plugged into your sound card.

For some time i have always been impressed with web sites that go above and beyond in terms of trying to help people learn certain software. One such site that does this is 3D-Palace. The sites main focus is based around 3d studio, and if you have ever looked at 3d studio you will soon understand why you need someone to teach you how to use it.

I really hate Updating programs any more , in the past you would look forward to a update or a bug fix but today its like these companies are more interested in adding more bloat and not to much of anything else.

This program i picked up a few days ago off of SourceForge .

Some encryption programs i have tried out have been single file encryption of they could do a folder of files. TrueCrypt does that as well as it can do entire hard drives. Along with being able to encrypt drives on the fly it can also basicly emulate a drive in a single file. So for example i may only have a few text files or the like that need encrypting and to encrypt a small section of my drive isn’t worth doing. However with TrueCrypt not only can i encrypt my hard drive i can also setup what is known as a container.
