Well this has been a strange Review to say the least. At first i had done a quite lengthy Review of this player and gave it good marks but then i run into a problem….
After playing Battlefield 2 for quite some time and not being overly impressed with that game , I was really skeptical of any future battlefield type games done by EA. However do to some friends of mine who did purchase battlefield 2142 , and the fact they kept bugging me to get the game I decided I would give EA another chance. Now the big question is has EA turned over a new leaf and finally decided to produce a stunning game? or have they stuck to their old ways and just released yet another bug filled rushed out the door game?
First a big thank you to VMware for providing VMware Workstation 5.5 for this Review.
A few months ago I was looking for a solution to having a clean install of Windows XP around. At the time I had settled on Norton Ghost so that I could make a image of my stock Windows install and then just save that image. Each time I wanted to get that stock clean install back I would format the drive and then remount the stock image. This was clearly faster then doing a standard of install of Windows XP all the time and then installing my other software on top of that.
In the last week or so I made a move from Kubuntu over to Ubuntu. I did this because I was going to give XGL/Compiz a try. I had read that trying to get XGL/Compiz working on Ubuntu was easier then try to get XGL/Compiz working on KDE/Kubuntu.
While doing the first article on Kubuntu I had some readers give feedback, and one of those readers suggested in my Review of Kubuntu I should have mentioned how much better it was then windows in terms of security and stability. So I figured I would take some time here and type up what I have seen since using both operating systems.
Before I get into this article I would like to thank the people who made comments on my Kubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake Review. A couple of the readers got back to me and told me how to fix my resolution problem I was having with Kubuntu so that was good.
Another reader mentioned to me that I should have mentioned in my Kubuntu Review why the distribution comes with no codec support for things like mp3.
The reason why I didn’t mention why the codecs were missing is because I feel any windows user who ran into the missing codecs in Kubuntu wouldn’t care why they are not there. The user knows they can’t play mp3’s and to them thats a problem regardless of the why the codecs are not there. However I do agree that I should have mentioned that the codecs for mp3 were proprietary and there fore they were not included just so some users would have known.
First a big thank you to HighSpeed PC for providing the Tech Station for this Review.
A few months ago I was doing some browsing around on the web and I come across this Tech Station from HighSpeed PC. After looking at it on the web site for a while I decided to see if they would send me one for Review and they did, so here is my Review.
First a big thank you to the folks over at Kubuntu for putting their time and effort into this latest release.
Finally after waiting a while for this latest release of Kubuntu I got around to installing it on one of my computers. The following article wont really be a Review of Kubuntu 6.06 but instead will be my thoughts as a windows user using Kubuntu.
First a big thank you to CyberLink for providing Power2Go 4 Deluxe for this Review.

First a big thank you to Antec for providing the Vcool Cooler for this Review.
If your looking for a little extra cooling for your video card you may want to check out the Antec Vcool VGA Cooler. This is a pretty cool looking VGA Cooler but as you will see in this Review it does have some issues..
