Just recently i was listening to a podcast and on there a guy called into to the host of the show and was telling the host he bought some EA game and the game wouldn’t run do to him having alcohol120%. For those that don’t know what it does , its software that lets you have a virtual cd or dvd and with that you can take game and have the program copy them and then mount them to this virtual drive. A lot of people do this so they don’t have to keep switching cd’s in and out of drive all the time.

How many of you out there have personal information on your computer about you or your family? How many more of you keep all your financial information on your machine? I got a feeling a lot of you answered yes to both of those. The problem with leaving stuff like this on your machine is its wide open for a “hacker” to come along and grab all that information off your computer and most of the time you wont even know its happening.

Without starting a big flame war here i want to go over the basics of the question of if a user should switch to Linux if that user is currently running a Windows machine. My answer to that is it depends on the user and what that user uses their machine for. First of all if you are using Windows and you have applications on there that you know will not be on Linux and you have to use these applications then i would say no your stuck with windows. However if your applications you run all the time have a Linux equivalent and your not tied to windows then switch and try Linux or get a Linux Live CD and try one of those out then switch if you like it.
